Gravity
Conveyors – This type of non-powered conveyors are typically
roller, skatewheel
or flow rails. They can be set up level as push lines or declining for a gravity
flow. Brake
rollers can be installed on the line to control the speed of the product. Supports
can be
used for a permanent installation or tripod supports can be used which allow
the
system to be set up and taken down as needed.
Powered Roller Conveyor – These conveyors with a roller bed can
be powered by a
belt running under the top rollers (Belt Driven Live Roller) or by a drive shaft
running under
the rollers with O-rings connecting the shaft to the rollers (Line Shaft Conveyors)
or the
rollers can have sprockets welded to the end of the rollers with a chain connecting
the
rollers (Chain Driven Live Roller). All of these conveyors are available as
transportation
type, to convey from point to point, or as accumulation type which allows product
to
stop and product to accumulate behind it.
Belt Conveyors – These conveyors will have a belt running
over the top of either a slider
bed or a roller bed. The belt can be a typical PVC type or a flat wire belt.
Conveyors can be horizontal or inclined.
Overhead Conveyors – These conveyors use a chain running
either inside a tube or
trolleys riding on a beam on which products are hung from hooks attached to
the chain.
They can be used to move products from point to point or to store products overhead.
Other Conveyors – Many other types and configurations are available.
Vertical conveyors
or lifts that change elevations in lines can be reciprocating or high speed
continuous lifts.
Stainless Steel conveyors for food processing and wash down operations. Turn
tables,
curves, pop-up transfers and transfer cars to change direction of flow in conveyor
lines.
For loading/unloading of trucks extendable conveyors both powered or gravity.
