Roll Formed Racks versus Structural Racks

Pallet Racks are manufactured from roll formed steel or structural steel. Some of the differences between the two are:

• Roll formed racks are less expensive
• Roll formed rack beams are held in place by mounting clips and be more easily moved than structural beams which are bolted in place
• Structural rack is heavier and less prone to forklift damage
• It is necessary to use structural racks in certain applications because it can handle heavier pallet loads
