Industrial
metal shelving is ideal for storing packaged goods and bulky items.
With shelf capacities from 300 to 1000 pounds, metal shelving can accommodate
a wide range of products. There are two basic shelving types: Open shelving
with
x-bracing on the sides and backs and Closed type shelving with solid sides and
backs to keep smaller products contained on the shelving units. Shelving depths
are 12”, 18”, 24” and 36”. Shelving widths are 36”,
42”, and 48”. Shelving heights
are 39”, 48”, 63”, 75”, 84”, 87”, 99”,
111” and 123”. Shelves are installed with
clips and are adjustable on 2” centers. Gussets can be used to eliminate
back
braces and allow access to shelves from the front and back. Dividers are used
to separate products on individual shelves. Metal shelving can be installed
on
tracks in a moveable aisle system to maximize your storage space.
Wire shelving is an excellent alternative for the electronics, healthcare, food
service, retail, and other industries where a clean, dust-free environment is
important. Wire shelving units consist of (4) posts and wire shelves and go
together quickly with no clips, fasteners, nuts, or bolts.
Open file shelving is available to store lateral files in an office environment.
